CONTINUING RESOLUTION IN PLACE

Congress recently passed a 6 month Continuing Resolution for domestic, discretionary programs providing level funding through the end of March 2013.

There is a small increase in Council funding levels in the amount of .612%, however Montana as a minimum allotment state would not see any part of this increase.

We don’t have any idea of when the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will release these funds to the respective agencies for availability to programs.

This Continuing Resolution could be eliminated based upon actions of the returning “lameduck” Congress or the incoming new Congress in January o0f 2013.

We are cautiously optimistic on the timing and release of the Continuing Resolution.
